Aim of the Research Project
The aim of “Perception Survey in the Middle East” is: (1) to understand how the people in the Middle East view other countries in terms of culture, socio-economy and politics; and (2) to recommend how Japanese people can contribute to the culture, socio-economy and politics of the Middle East.

Method of the Research

Program from fiscal 2008 (from April 2008)
The research team of “Perception Survey in the Middle East” is planning to conduct the perception survey in Lebanon, Iraq, Palestine (Israel), Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iran, and Iraqi DPs and Palestinian refugees in Syria.
